I didn't even knew this place was there until friends invited me to dinner there. Glad they showed it to me. Definitely will be one of my go to places for Thai now.
I’m Thai , ate there first time ordered papaya salad and grilled chicken. Foods was so good. Taste authentic but had to wait a bit long cus only one staff on that time. Highly recommend if you want a real Thai taste 👍🏼
The best Thai food I've had in Denver! The only con is the service, which has taken up to an hour before. The food is delicious and authentic so it is well worth it, but you may want to reconsider if you're in a rush.
Food was decent but the staff was rude.
We had great meals here. The service was fine but not exceptional.
Ordered the Pad Thai & Spicy Eggplant entrees and both were amazing! We will definitely be back.
How have I lived here so long and never been to Chanda Thai? It’s so amazingly good! The staff are wonderful and the food is fresh and authentic. It can be a long wait for seating, delivery, or pickup so plan accordingly but good for Chanda Thai, I say - it’s worth the wait!
I love this place so much. It's all always so good
Great food in a great neighborhood spot. Food is spot on during these Weird take out times too. Same server I’ve had forever still working super hard for the Togo’s. Thank you thank you 🙏🏼
Crab puffs were fried nicely but poor flavor and the sauces were dilute. The panang curry was nicely spiced but I didn't get enough rice. The service- there was only one waitress/hostess and we didn't get checked on very often despite being the only customers there for about half our time there. Outdoor seating was lovely and food was good enough to go back.
We discovered Chada Thai during quarantine and it has become our favorite ever since! They're good is DELICIOUS and filling but best of all their service is THE BEST!! Everyone is so friendly and kind. We definitely recommend this place to everyone and will be taking our friends and family to enjoy Chada Thai!
Hmmm- First and foremost I should make clear that Chada Thai is in no way Thai food. This utterly mediocre establishment leaves me perplexed in how to describe the nothingness of the experience. No ambiance, no hospitality, and some of the blandest food that has masqueraded for Thai I’ve ever had.
Decent food, but very small portions and rude staff while taking orders.
Saddens me to say this, I have been coming here for years and usually have a good experience but today's lunch was different, the waiter who normally is always friendly stated he wasn't having such a good day and was tired, he looked a bit ill in my opinion. I ordered my usual Khow Pad veggie only no tofu, when my plate came out... it had tofu, a friend of mine found a piece of hair, when mentioned the waiter was so rude and disrespectful it was shocking! I have never seen or experienced that kind of behavior. I will not be eating here again and won't recommend anyone unless you don't mind over paying for the wrong order, and hair in your food.
We loved Chada Thai when we lived in Denver, 1976-79. I still own and use Prapimpan Coutts’ great Thai cookbook from the restaurant. Recently, our grandson volunteered for a year with AmeriCorps, in Aurora. We will definitely recommend that he and his new friends try Chada Thai, when they have some time off. We hope that the restaurant is still using Lily Chittivej and Patty’s delicious recipes!
Baddd attitude, bad vibes, will never return. so many other places that care about being polite to customers. i felt like i was at some college bar. i my wife and i are professional diners, tip very well and spread the good word. the word here, is baddd customer service. the guy in the pic was the rude one.
This is a great little Thai spot in the neighborhood. Drunken noodles is where it’s at. Medium is really nice heat.
First time here and noticed how highly priced food was here but still wanted to try out their food due to the amazing reviews. The waiter was very rude and sighed a lot like he was having a bad day. Wasn't as great as I thought. I ordered pas se ew and was very dry and a very small portion for it being highly priced. Do not recommend coming here. Customer service was not great. Not greeted or at least have a nice day. Pretty sad but oh well hopefully they get better training.
Great staff, easy to order, I like it.
Great service and patio seating
Rude. I asked for menu, was given one, then refused service saying they were closed!? Drove out there for nothing. I'll ever go there again.
Went in there today and the restaurant had a really bad smell, somewhat like feet or sweat! It smelled so bad that I had to eat outside in the patio. Also every time I come here no matter what time of the day they take forever to attend you, even if there’s no one else in the restaurant.
Chada Thai is my favorite Thai place in Denver by far! I’ve tried plenty other Thai restaurants in Denver and nothing compares. My favorite dish is the pad phet (spicy eggplant) and the pad Thai but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is also extremely friendly. I highly recommend!
1.5 hours late on a take out order
Best pad Thai and dessert I've had in a while.
For me, Phad Ka Prow is the barometer by which I measure a good Thai spot. It must be served with ground meat, and Chada is the only place I've been to which has ground chicken, pork, or beef. Great flavor, nice heat, and lots of fresh, aromatic basil. Maybe the dinner portion has more veggies, but this is my only (very minor) gripe.
I had hair in my food for the second time and was accused of placing it there. Was told they don’t believe me because apparently it has never happened to anyone else. Because I spoke up about the hair to the waiter, I was told to never return. He did not care to even look at my plate just walked away. I have been coming here for 5 years and couldn’t believe they would treat their customers this way. I was very surprised on how rude and disrespectful the waiter treated me.
Simply delicious food in a cozy environment.
Came here with friends on a Saturday night, sat outside at the Big table. Enjoyed the BEST thia I've had in Denver!! Food and service was amazing! I had the Pineapple Shrimp Curry and I wanted to drink the broth!!! Thank you Derek and Thank you Chada for a memorable night!
Wonderful food for very decent prices. Friendly service too, definitely more of a joke in the wall kind of spot, but it's definitely become my go to.
Truly authentic Thai food. This place definitely doesn’t skimp on the spices and does an awesome job providing diverse menu dishes to sample Thai food here in Denver. Friendly staff too, Derek one of the waiters there is always super friendly and accommodating.
Got drunken noodles. Pretty dry had to add my own said at home. Not very many veggies either like 3 pieces of broccoli and two pieces of basil. Waste of $13
Excellent food. Relaxed and easy environment. Outdoor seating.
It got such glowing reviews so we thought we'd check it out. Honestly, it was fine but I'm not sure what the fuss is about. It was a little cramped and I'm not sure they wanted our larger party in the place, but they managed. The food was all just fine but nothing special. There are many other Thai restaurants I'd choose over this one.
Nice nice place
Food is WAY over priced... Their shrimp pai thai only had 3 pieces of shrimp and it was $15 dollars!
Serving the meal to go without a bag... Cold and hot meal: I don't get it. Taste was questionnable..
Been ordering here for years. Decided to finally write a review. To summarize don’t bother with any other Thai place or you’re missing out. They’ve never disappointed me. Don’t be dumb, choose Chada.
We love Chada Thai! We live close by and come in regularly, maybe once a week (would be even more if they were open on Tuesdays, when I always seem to be craving it). Awesome service in the restaurant every time. Carry out is easy. The drunken noodles are to die for. Gets busy outside on the patio on nice weather days, but otherwise there's usually plenty of seating and quick service. Highly recommended!
Food is good, but why do they never answer the phone? Do they not want my money?
Drunken noods are fire.
My favorite Thai restaurant in Denver! I eat here at least once a week and it never disappoints. I have tried Pad Thai at every other restaurant in the area and Chada has been my favorite thus far
Food is good but waite time sux. I've dined here and I'm also doing grubhub. So if you want to eat here call way ahead of time and if you work for grubhub reject the order you will be sitting here for an hour. Not worth the pay.
